As a Product Executive at [DMC Name], you will play a key role in the Product Management team, contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our diverse portfolio of destination offerings. Your primary responsibilities will include researching and analyzing market trends, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring the successful execution of product strategies to meet customer expectations and business goals.

Product Executive (Bangkok)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Development:
    • Research and identify new products and services to enhance the company’s destination portfolio.
    • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and partners to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms.
    • Work closely with the Product Manager to develop and implement innovative product strategies.
  2. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
    • Analyze market data to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
  3. Supplier Relations:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring the highest quality of products and services.
    • Collaborate with suppliers to develop exclusive offerings and promotions.
  4. Product Lifecycle Management:
    • Monitor the performance of existing products and recommend enhancements or discontinuations as necessary.
    • Develop and maintain product documentation, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure seamless product integration and execution.
    • Collaborate with Sales teams to provide product training and support.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Conduct regular quality assessments of products and services to maintain high standards.
    • Address customer feedback and implement improvements as needed.
  7. Budget Management:
    • Assist in the development and management of product budgets.
    • Monitor expenses and ensure cost-effective product development and delivery.
  8. Reporting:
    • Prepare regular reports on product performance, market trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product management, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a keen understanding of market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work well in under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and product management tools.
