Bangkok, July 29, 2025 The Thailand Green Tourism Collections, a flagship project of the Thailand Green Tourism for Sustainability program, was introduced by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). The promotion highlights Thailand commitment to the 2030 Sustainable Tourism Goals and The New Thailand Vision 2026 by offering 20 eco-friendly travel itineraries throughout ten designated Green Cities.

The initiative demonstrates Thailand readiness to adhere to the EU evolving sustainability standards and was developed in collaboration with Thai public-private partners and EU tour operators. These include the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), which require EU companies to work with suppliers only that demonstrate transparent, measurable, and sustainable performance.
