Thailand Receives Gold Awards 2025 For Excellent Sustainability and Marketing at the PATA

16 July 2025, Bangkok with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and the Designated Areas for Sustainable Tourism Administration (Public Organization) taking home top honors at the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Awards 2025, Thailand dedication to ethical and innovative travel has been acknowledged on regional level. These esteemed honors raise the standard for innovation, sustainability, and quality by recognized exceptional accomplishments throughout the Asia Pacific tourism sector.

DASTA received one of PATA Gold Awards highest honors the Grand Award for Sustainability & Social Responsibility for its Ban Na Ton Homestay Community Enterprise, a project that has been a model for community-driven cultural heritage preservation. The project testifies to the strength of long-term dedication and locally driven sustainablity.

DASTA also won five Gold Awards in the same category for its work on climate action, inclusive tourism, women and youth empowerment, and destination resilence. Each win underscores Thailand leadership in development tourism that advantages communities while conserving cultural and natural resources.

TAT won two Gold Awards in the Marketing category, after its unbroken streak of annual wins in a broad spectrum of categories. Its Love Season Campaign received best integrated digital marketing campaign for its successful digital promotion and touching storytelling that encouraged romantic travel in Thailand.
